Bentall Kennedy Forever Green Team - Coffee Cup Challenge

Throughout the month of March our Vancouver landlord, Bentall Kennedy, and their Forever Green Tenant Team are undertaking a waste reduction and recycling initiative.

As a component of this initiative, they wish to encourage tenants to use travel mugs or reusable mugs for their beverages, as opposed to disposable cups. This particular campaign runs for just one week from March 7 – 11, 2011. Read More »

Recycling in the Office

Recycling takes waste and turns it into a usable material resource that can be made into new products.  It’s also one of the easiest ways for us to actively help the environment.  Making new products from recycled material uses a lot less energy and water.

Green Your Paper

To be considered recycled, paper with recycled content (including toilet paper!) should be made largely from ‘post-consumer’ waste – waste that has been used at least once by consumers, followed by collection and sorting.  Pre-consumer waste comes from the production of other virgin pulp that may have come from the fragile remains of old growth forests.
