We hear the words “sustainability”, “green” and “LEED” every day, but have you ever wondered what these words mean to the people who use them? The Great Sustainability Photo Challenge aimed to address what sustainability means to individuals through the use of imagery.
Staff members were encouraged to produce a creative photo montage to describe what sustainability means to them. The judging panel, comprised of members of o-vert’s steering committee, selected the following entries in first, second and third place:
FIRST PLACE: Tiina Vahtola – “Sustainability”

SECOND PLACE: Mike Watts - “Read Between the Lines”

THIRD PLACE: Robin Bailey – “Balance”
