The Challenge Series - Lessons to Learn from Millennium Water

Ever wondered why the Olympic Village at Southeast False Creek has been so highly touted as a sustainable development?  Now you can get insight into the process of the development, design, and construction process to understand the lessons learned from the process.

In a truly unique retrospective, the sustainability consultants have put together a book and online narrative of the process of the development.  The Challenge Series is a resource to educate and inspire communities, professionals, owners and builders seeking to create meaningful opportunities out of the challenges of climate change.  The chapters set up the history, planning, public space, building, energy, and water approaches that provide the wealth of knowledge from the process.

The final chapter sets out the challenge to bring these lessons to other projects as well as go further to create a more sustainable future.
