One of the ideas submitted to o·vert at our launch (by Jim Spiers) was to stop using disposable stir sticks for coffee and tea.  We purchased more teaspoons for the kitchen and sent out an email letting employees know that we wouldn’t be ordering stir sticks anymore, as it’s not sustainable (or economical) to continually purchase and dispose of stir sticks when we could reuse spoons.

Before you take that road trip for your next camping trip this summer, take into consideration the wilderness you will be setting foot in. This is the wilderness you need to help protect so that next summer (and the summer after that) you can visit and enjoy it again. If done irresponsibly, camping can lead to land erosion, pollution and species extinction.
